Straight to the point


The Dick.

Deeper reading of the blurb reveals that The Dick is a satirical novel, so – disappointingly — Mr Friedman probably knew what he was about when he chose the title.

Still, ten out of ten for direct simplicity, and for a title to catch the eye from the middle of a huge and cluttered book-sale table.
